Reviews
Nickie O'Hara: it’s just the thing I could have done with when my kids were a lot younger.
Muddling Along Mummy: incredibly I’ve flipped myself out of a bad patch and into a good patch ... Simple but effective.
Helen Redding: Easy to do and instills a sense of perspective.
Little Dimples is particularly keen on acoustic music, I think I must have listened to the live lounge a lot when I was pregnant. Whereas Curly Headed Boy prefered pop and sparkle when he was her age; particularly Justin timberlake or the Pussycat Dolls ( must be from those Pole dancing classes I was doing when I was pregnant, but that’s a whole other story!). In my Monday exhaustion tips blog I mentioned how you can use music to give you energy when you are exhausted, and last week I mentioned that sometimes it’s good to have a jolly good cry. So today I’m going to give you a few ideas to help you on those worst days.
(Apologies I am having a technical difficulty, probably because I’ve written this on my iPad, so at the moment only the links are showing and not the videos, I’ll fix it when I get home from Devon later today).
So from Little Dimples I give you from the Live Lounge, 30 seconds to Mars doing a cover of Kanye West’s Stronger.
From Curly Headed Boy I give you Justin Timberlake and Sexy Back
For those mornings I give you Mama Mia
And for a jolly good cry I give you ‘slipping through my fingers’ from ‘mama mia’
