I was thinking about rewards for losing weight and hitting goals last week. It's important to be balanced in life: to give and to receive in equal measure. So it would be a fair deal to give yourself or your body something in return for doing a good job. After all, wouldn't you be upset if you kept giving and giving and putting in some hard work, if you didn't get a reward?

It's really normal to make great progress and then suddenly stall and stop for a while. If this is where you are and you want a boost, then this is the post for you.

A detox can be a great start to a New Year when you are feeling a bit stagnant, or Start to a weight loss programme, or boost to a weight loss programme.
I watched Channel 4's Food Hospital program and they pretty much proved that Detox's don't do much. So whatever they do, it's probably partially placebo, and partially giving your system a bit of a reboot so that you can go back to a healthier lifestyle. These are the blog posts that initially birthed the free chapter on how to lose weight in my sparkling book, which due to it’s popularity I realised should be a book in it’s own right. Feel free to check them out. They will be more polished in the book and there will be extra bits, but I’ll also be adding new tips or clever products in my blog that help when I find them.

During 2011 I wrote 3 months (eventually 12 months!) worth of weight loss tips covering everything that you need to know in order to succeed and lose weight easily and healthily.
I’ve also put a 15 minute webinar on how to make sure that you really lose weight up on my Facebook page. This video explains why you might have thought it was difficult to lose weight in the past and how to make sure that your head and heart are really up for it. It’s SO important to do this, because when you are up for losing weight, you will find it really easy to do. This is not about ridiculous diets or quick weight loss.
This is about weight loss for a Mum, who wants to be Healthier, Fitter, Slimmer and maybe a touch sexier, using a balanced and long lasting regime.
But be warned, if you have more than a dress size to lose, then start saving now, because if you follow them you are sooooo going to need some new clothes and warn your husband, because you’re going to look hot! It’s going to be FUN!
